Multi-Messenger Astronomy

Since the historic GW/GRB 170817A detection, I have been deeply involved in multi-messenger astronomy. I contributed to the optical/IR characterisation of the kilonova from the first binary neutron star merger, and led electromagnetic follow-up of gravitational wave candidates during LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA runs O1–O4.

Desde la histórica detección de GW/GRB 170817A, estoy profundamente involucrado en la astronomía multimensajero. Contribuí a la caracterización óptica/IR de la kilonova del primer merger de estrellas de neutrones, y lideré el seguimiento electromagnético de candidatos a ondas gravitacionales en las campañas O1–O4 de LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA.
